Ask to be released from all things that do not serve you. Close your eyes and breathe. Hold this wish close to your heart. Ask to be rid of pain, hurt, and negativity. Ask to be rid of all people and situations that do not promote your growth or happiness. Keep these thoughts in mind as you tie this strand. Only tie when you are truly ready to LET GO.
 
The intention is to be ready to receive all that you have asked for and the only way to do this is to let go of the things that you know you need let go of.
